This dress is from the Burda Magazine October 2009. I made it out of a lightweight olive brown wool. I wouldn’t recommend using anything bulky because of all the pleating. This dress would benefit from being lined but I didn’t do it on this version. I sewed down the pleats up top as directed. I topstitched the pleats below the waist to make them look crisp. It would be pretty in a lightweight cotton for summer worn without a shirt underneath.
