I love that this cape is both classic and stylish.
I purchased this brown Pendelton wool almost 20 years ago waiting for the “right project.”
I only had 4 yards, so cut on the “hemline” to save an inch or two on each piece.
I also added shoulder pads to provide some much needed shaping.
My husband noted if I had used the lining fabric for the scarf also, it would have been “even better”. Of course this was after I had already completed the cape! Something to consider should I happen to make another version in the future!
Outer Fabric: 100% Wool
Lining: 100% Polyester
