Description

I used a pattern from Burda Word of Fashion magazine 09/2010 pattern 122. The fabric that I used – a brown velvet. For the embroideries I choose an ash pink embroidery thread which I sewed manually . I cut a lot of the skirt length to fix it to my height. Maybe this changed a little bit the style of the skirt …

Thank you. Glade you like it. I added the stitches because the color of the fabric that I used was pretty dark and I wanted to underline the different curvy layers. Next time I’ll chose a lighter color for these kind of original patterns. :)

That skirt looks really interesting with those white embroideries. What did you use exactly? Nice to see, other ones doing the same skirt as me.

Gorgeous, I love the stitching detail you added. I have been thinking about making this skirt too, now I’m inspired to go and get some fabric for it.
