My first attempt at Elaine May’s Coffee Date Dress. I had to take it in quite a bit from the size I measured at and cut out. Though I sew a dress almost every other week, the facing technique was a little confusing. I got it figured out eventually. Overall a great pattern to work with and a cute dress. I wish I’d remember to get pictures of my projects at the beginning of the day before they are a wrinkled mess, but oh well.
silky brown cotton polka dot fabric from the thrift store. probably a quilting cotton, but it has a bit of sheen.
