Description

Another Marie inspired skirt I made by draping the fabric on the form first. I wanted to experiment with using the print of the fabric to accentuate the shape of the skirt, with mixed results!
You can see it a little more clearly from the back.
The photos aren’t so great but my resident photographer should be in action soon (I am training up my son since he asked for a camera for Christmas) so if he can get up to speed and I can face how I look in them I will upload some photos of the clothes actually on!

Material Notes

Cotton. It was a remnant I bought from a furnishing fabric warehouse in Finchley, London. At first I thought I would make a bag but then the print inspired me to challenge myself!

    Oops.. I meant: Great fabric choice for the skirt – I think it will really complement the curve of the body when workn.
