The BWOF pattern 10/2005, #112. I slightly altered the sleeves – I lengthen them and made them bit wider in the wrist area and added cuffs. That made this puffy effect I like very much. The blouse is really easy for sewing, perfect for beginners.

I agree totally with Carotte Sauvage….the casual chic! I love your blouse pant combo’s they are so well tailored, great colour-combinations along with your textures and who said’s, ‘Blouses and pants aren’t sexy?’

Hello AnaJan, just created my account here and I’m new sewing. I must say this blouse is very beautiful. Where can I get the pattern? If you or anyone here can answer this question, I would appreciate it very much :)

I have to agree with Polychromatin, your blouse is much nicer. The neckline is so sweet.

Hey Ana, I am half writing my thesis half checking Burdastyle… this is great top. It really suits you. I very much like the whole casual chic feel of the autumn/winter wardrobe you posted recently!

Thanks, ladies!peaudane: Well, the fabric I used has some firmness (even though it’s thin and rather transparent), so sometimes I wear the blouse untied, and the gathers hold together. I suppose that fabric like chiffon wouldn’t hold the gathers. And, I recommend adding buttons to the upper part of the blouse, since it opens as you move your body. I wear the blouse with some kind of undershirt.

You have got to be one of the most productive members on Burdastyle. Every morning I see a new creation from you! And all of them are so well made. Great work!

oh this pattern is on my list! I like the added cuffs a lot. And if it’s a beginner pattern, I might have to look for the convenient fabric soon!

It looks fabulous! Even better with the puffier sleeves! I have this issue and was considering making this but I wasn’t sure what would happen if you left the neck untied. Do the gathers hold together or do they fall appart?
