Christmas gift for my grandma. She’s 91 and still kickin! When I was about 8 or 9 I asked her to give me sewing lessons and she helped me make myself a fleece sweatshirt, a set of placemats for my aunt (which are still her favorite Xmas placemats!), an apron, and a skirt. I credit that time to my enjoyment today of sewing and creating.
Note: looks like the pic gets cut off so you can’t see the brown on the ends. But I think you can see it better on my main profile creation page with all the other creation pictures.
Brown crepe-like fabric left over from making my husband a shirt, red cotton from a bedsheet, off-white lace from a tanktop that melts when ironed… oops…
