I didn’t follow the instructions provided, I used the instructions from Grosgrain’s Frock By Friday Sew Along, which were very very awesome.
I also added inseam pockets!
A Batik from Sew-Fisticated fabrics in Dorchester. Fun Fact- If you go to NYC to go dancing, and leaving the club in the wee hours of the morning, this is what the sunrise looks like through the silhouette of the buildings and fire escapes. The pockets are from a leftover mint and yellow calico fabric. I like the color contrast of the fabric, and the fact that the calico fabric is kinda country and the batik reminds me of the big city. My soul lives somewhere between the country and the city, so I like this.
