This was made as a university project, and was the first corset i’ve ever made, as it was for an unknown cast they were made to stock sizes. I made it through sculpting on the stand which was a interesting process to say the least. When making a real corset you would usually use Coutille, but as this was for theatre on a budget drill was used for it’s stiff qualities.
Rough Silk, Calico, Drill, Rough silk bias piping, spiral boning (and end caps), busk (busque)
