The brocade trend has really been growing on me… I just finished my block for a pencil skirt, starting from the pattern in Burda in August. I made a lot of adjustment to it to fit me well and I changed the vent, the lining and facing patterns to be able to bag the lining (see Fashion Incubator).
I made a first skirt out of silk twill to test it and then separated the patterns at the darts to make princess lines and added piping.
