Being suddenly very disappointed in the dark, dull colours of winter, I decided it was time for adding some colour to my winter :) And here it is: a bright pink 80% wool jacket! Even though a cropped jacket, the wool is very nice and warm and I love the way how it turned out (my first attempt at a jacket too!!). I cannot wait to try another one… maybe emerald green or bright red! I’ve been wanting to try the 3/2011 Cropped Sweatshirt Jacket #121 pattern for a while now, at first I was not sure whether wool would be suited, but I’m very happy with the result! I’ve also made a quick scarf for some extra colour and patterns! Thank you to my special friend Jody (follow her here “Fitness Model Elite” http://www.fitnessmodelelite.com/ for taking these photos :)

You made a great jacket! You inspired me to thinking about giving this pattern a try next autumn. Right now I’m still too scared of making jackets.

You must give it a try!!! It was my first jacket… I just went about it real slow! (Normally I’m very much in a hurry to finish my projects but I knew I had to take this one slower to get a successful end-product!). I’ve decided to try out some blouses with collars because that is where I struggled most! I’m happy with the result… now just need to get the inspiration to try another one very soon ;)
