Description

I used turquoise felted wool for the top part, and for the sole, a layer of recycled denim for the bottom with a layer of batting in the middle and a layer of soft yellow flannel on top, quilted together by machine. This is a super simple pattern. I didn’t even use the instructions. The only thing not to love is the number of times I poked myself with pins while putting the bias binding on over all those layers. I do wish I had cut about a half inch off of the back of the sole, it’s a little long for my size 7 feet.

Material Notes

turquoise wool, yellow cotton flannel, recycled denim, poly-cotton bias trim, cotton quilting thread
