I made this from an old fitted sheet from the Salvation Army. Thanks to those awesome party skirt instructions, this is now one of my favourite all-purpose summer skirts. This style of skirt is really unflattering on me when worn on the hips or waist, so I adjusted it to fit above my natural waist and widened the waistband, so it’s almost like an empire waistline. Perfect with a fitted top. I’m going to make another one of these next summer and put it together with a basic bodice for a cute dress!
