As soon as I saw the pattern I knew I had the perfect fabric!
However I don’t wear skirts (not practical in my job) so wanted to make it for a friend. I used the bright pink 100% wool and kept it simple so she could wear it to work but added a fun black and white satin spotty lining so it’s still funky and the silky lining feels great against the skin but the outer layer is also touchy feely!
100% bright pink wool from Glasgow
Black & white spotty fabric from the remanants at Abakhan – so I think it’s a satin
Pint & black threads,
Bright pink 9" zip
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
