We like to coordinate our costumes, we were tae kwondoists, then a spartan couple, for this year we had no clue since it had to be fresh and breathable (there would be a lot of dancing), modest, fun and easy to make, my husband said joking “make me a tuxedo tee” …and it just started the creativity engine on my head :P So we had a costume wedding, it was so cheap and fun to make, I made it ALL, except for the shoes and his pants, my sister made me the huge ring.
I think that my favorite part of the tuxedo was the cuffs : ), my “dress” didn’t result at all as I thought, because the tee was just too long and I didn’t notice it, but I loved the results anyways. The whole project was so much fun, and wearing it was awesome too.
I sewed the flowers, though in the tutorial teaches it with glue…I’m a glue mess.
In all of this project we spent less than USD$10 since we only bought the buttons and the t-shirts, the tulle was a decoration leftover from our real wedding almost 2 years ago.
Tulle, T-shits, bunch of fabric scraps for the flowers, floral tape, black buttons and fabric for the tuxedo

I am busting up laughing, what a great costume idea! I love it when you can get a theme going like that. Great job!
