I made this clutch purse with nylon removed from a broken umbrella and re-purposed into a lovely chic clutch. Durable, waterproof, upcycled and completely eco-friendly.
The orange and blue floral accent fabric is a small scrap of cotton with Joel Dewberry’s Ginseng print which I previously used for a wrap skirt. Brella has a layer of organic cotton batting between the lining and outer fabric to add stability. The Antique Bronze Kiss Lock Clutch Frame was supplied by the lovely Bits and Purses shop on Etsy! www.bitsandpurses.etsy.com
This clutch will fit a wallet, phone and keys comfortably. You could even throw in your lipstick and a pair of sunglasses.
Dimensions:
Frame 8" wide
Purse Body 9" wide
Purse Body and Frame are 6" high
Purse body is 3" deep
I love upcycling!

Just visit NY after a summer storm and you’ll be walking in broken umbrellas up to your ears!
Thanks!
