This flare culottes is made with light weight dungaree denim.
It is made from four pieces of the same pattern pieced together as the right / left and back / front.
The ribbon came to the center in the original pattern, but I like it better at the side, so I changed the length to make a nicely shaped ribbon.
The flare is very large, it almost looks like a skirt.
Jeans and anything that fits tight around your legs are impossible to wear during the hot and humid summers in Japan.
So I needed something breezy and comfortable. And something I can move around in a lot to chase after my kids.
