This is a really simple a-line dress that looks pretty hip when you wear it with a belt. After I saw this I wanted to make something similar to a shirt dress- except that mine was made to slip on over my head as my machine has a problem with buttonholes.

I like this very much too! This dress is very similar to a lot of the dresses you find in Japanese dress pattern books (which I adore). Simple, elegant, comfortable style. I adore your contrasting lining. Lovely work Honey (and that nautical back ground – looks like your relaxing in the Rivera! Just fab!)
