I couldn’t resist making this top! I fell in love with both the braid and the shape of the neckline…
It was very easy to make, the instructions and pattern are both very clear.
Since I’m a size 36 and the pattern made to suit 38/40 I took off 1,5 cm’s from all pattern-pieces (not the center front and center back since they were to be placed on a fold). The seams are 0,5cm wide, I’m not sure how much smaller that makes it (the pattern has 1,3cm seam allowance included), but it fits me!
I also shortened it a bit and added a waistband, since I’m not that comfortable with clothes that are wide around my middle…
I’m really happy with the outcome and recommend the pattern!
Very lightweight jersey.

I was just thinking “damn, she has great shoulders! Sewing must do wonders” and then I saw the pull up bar in the back. I can do 1 pull-up, followed by 10 minutes of crying. So: wow^2! (for the shoulders and for the top)

Hehe… thank you! I think they came from sport-sailing and ashtanga yoga. I’ve lost them now though, I haven’t moved a muscle since september :-(. Gotta take it up again, and then I may use the pull-up-bar more often too… I doubt I would manage more than one now…

Top looks great. I’m about to make it in green silk. I have 0.5mt: will it be enough?

Hm, I’m really not sure. The top is kind of double… I think you must cut the pattern-pieces out and try to fit them on the material.

Thanks! I’ll try it out. I often find that patterns request a lot more fabric than required. So I went all cheap and got only 05.mt…If it does not work out: I’ll just do it single and pray people cannor see my bra.

This is really cool and looks great – I actually have a length of jersey that I braided and keep trying to find a project for – this seems to be the one to go for!
