Burda Style For people who sew
Description
For this dress, I just followed the pattern but lengthened it a little to make a dress. This was my first time using a pattern, and I would recommend this pattern to anyone as it is so easy to follow. Even for a pattern-phobe like me!

Oh that looks fantastic! I liked the look of this pattern but i dont really wear tops much, better idea you have! Nice shoes btw

Thanks so much! I just lengthened the sides of the pattern and flared it out a bit from the waist down. I love those shoes too!

i love this dress and i myself HATe using patterns because they confuse me so much so i end up just wasting fabric. but i will try this one and hopefully it goes well

Thank you! This was my first pattern and I approached it thinking, “this is going to be really difficult and I’m gonna end up frustrated” but I found it was easier than I thought. The hardest part is hand sewing on the braid. Let me know how it goes, I’d love to see your end result!
