This is a simple knitted hat I gave my son this year so he can be Santa. I still have elf hats to knit for his sister and cousin— I’ll try to take in process pictures of those to show how to make these.

The hat is made from thick roving yarn by Bernat, 20% wool, 80% acrylic. I used a brioche stitch (twisted stockinette). Border and pompom is white Lion’s Brand Homespun.
