I originally planned this to be a loose tunic/dress for my younger daughter, but it wound up being a more snug, undershirt-type tank-top for my older daughter.
The pattern is from Young Image magazine (Y1201), a pattern for a racer-back tank/dress with flounces on the bottom. I omitted the flounces. I cut the 116 size (6) but it’s being worn by my size-10 daughter. The only tricky part is applying the binding.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
