Ok, this was dissapointing… I used this wonderful tutorial http://modernquiltlove.wordpress.com/2009/07/14/perfect-box-pouch-tutorial/, but wanted to make it bigger. I failed at this project completely. How can I sew a jacket for myself when I can´t make this? Oh well. If I ever want to sew again, remind me not to. Also, if I want to make something with the zipper, remind me not to. :)
Just exeggerating :). But this thing is awful. I´m going to give to my husband, probably :).

Box pouches are quite tricky… the last steps (the corners) are a crucial point, i can never manage to sew them properly… a millimeter can change the shape completely.

this pouch rocks!!! love the fabric and zipper color combo. hey, it’s the little projects we make that we learn from. so maybe not a jacket yet, but by the time you knock that out you’ll be a pro. i couldn’t even think of making a jacket or any seriously tailored piece right now. in the meantime, lots of pouches to give as gifts!!!

No sad faces this is bitchin! Besides that crazy awesome fabric will disguise the parts you don’t like

I think you deliberately pushed it out of shape for the photos ;) I don’t think it’s so bad.

Thank you :). The shape is quite bad, but I like the color combination so much…
