I just cant get enough of this polka dot fabric. I am so crazy over it until finally I used my leftovers to design a cute, girly and stylish dress that was so floating around in my mind. Probably it is retro but I am madly in love with the design :-) Here goes……..
It is a sleeveless dress with a broad collar (kind of looking like those sailor ones) with added extending fabrics at ends going through a knot so as to form a bow. The top is self lined with the same polka dot.
The skirt is made out of knits and is lined with blue pongee of the same shade as the dot to give a peek a boo feel, as the blue is showing underneath. An invisible zipper is at the side.
I then added six bows sewn around the waistline with black and white buttons in the center of the bows. The hemline of the skirt is rolled hem with blue and black threads.
I am so proud of how my self draft design as turned out. Happy Me :-)
I try to capture all the details for proper viewing in the pics
