This bow top pattern was in Finnish sewing magazine. It was an easy pattern but the fabric made it difficult! It was very slippery and electric. There is an elastic band on the hem and pleats on the back neckline. Now that it’s finished I can say phew!
This is in my blog too:http://peppipoulain.blogspot.com/2012/03/sewing-keeps-me-sane-ompelu-pitaa-minut.html

Thank you! Yes, I can. I’ll have to upload it tomorrow. It looks basically the same on the back, just a little bit less gathering. The bow is made of two pieces. The ends are sewn together and it starts from the other shoulder. I hope this helps!

You did a wonderful job, so neat! I love the pattern :) And I agree with you! I just completed two chiffon scarfs, and a chiffon/satin mix dress recently… moving onto cottons for a good while now!!!! I love these materials, but they are HARD to sew!! Yours is beautiful! I’ll visit your blog, thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Yes, it’s cotton/linen time for me too! :) They are extremely difficult to sew. I’ve heard of a teflon foot for the sewing machine, but I’m not sue if it’s any good with these kind of fabrics.
Welcome to visit my blog! :)

Thanks! Hmm, I’m not sure if there’s a similar pattern here. Actually this is quite easy to modify from a regular raglan sleeve blouse. Just leave the sleeves off. The bow is cut in the shape of a tie in the ends. The front part is about 10cm longer than the back part. Sorry for not having the actual pattern here!!:(
