This was my first try on Gertie’s Bow-Tied Blouse. I used very light white cotton to give this blouse a professional look and added light pink buttons to make it more fun. I fell in love with these buttons the moment I saw them. I decided not to make bound buttonholes since the fabric is very sheer and I believe it wouldn’t have looked nice. Therefore I made machine buttonholes. All in all I am very happy with the end result. I think this is the perfect blouse to be worn at the office this spring.
Cotton babric and pink buttons.
