Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this bow tie for my boyfriend Oliver when we went to my university ball back in July 2011. I wore a long green maxi skirt and my fur waistcoat I made. He wore the tuxedo jacket I bought him for Christmas 2010 and my bowler hat.
Our masks were made from lace and tulle, and mine was specially hard to get right.
I made the bow tie from some left over satin from a previous ball dress and used elastic as the band for round the neck.

I never would have thought of lace or tulle for a mask. How creative.! Any guy who is secure enough to go along with your ideas is a keeper!
