Based on the ever-so-popular Coffee Date Dress, with inspiration taken from all the cute open-backed dresses I’ve seen recently. Dress is unlined with facings at the neck and armscyes, perfect for when it gets warmer!
Changes:
bodice front: lowered and widened neckline, brought in darts more
bodice back: drafted by me
skirt: original skirt, 2 baby pleats in the front to bring in an inch of extra fabric
Hand-stitched an invisible hem (needs an iron, I know), lapped back zipper inserted by machine. Hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper.

Thanks! I’m not much one for ruffles in general, it would be too busy with this print.

It looks great. I love the fabric and the open back and bow is like a little surprise at the back.

Thanks! It was sitting at the bottom of my stash and I finally figured out what to do with it. Still have enough left over for a 1/2-3/4 circle skirt.
