I made these using the Colette patterns free bloomer pattern available here: http://www.colettepatterns.com/how-to
I used this adorable fabric I found at the Pennsylvania Fabric Outlet here in Philadelphia, which I love. I can’t help but get something every damn time I go in there, it’s great for my fabric stash but dreadful for my wallet.
I also loved Grosgrain’s take on these bloomers, and in the comments someone was like, “I love these, but I would totally put elastic throughout rather then having to tighten the legs”. And I have to applaud that sort of laziness, so I did that exactly. The bows are purely ornamental. Ornament can be so cute.
This heavy cotton fabric. Sort of thick, but it feels fine on the skin!
