I followed Gertie’s bombshell course and used the bodice of the pattern and drafted the pants.
After making a Muslim and many a man hours of twigging to get the damn cups to fit my boobies (still not totally happy with the fit)! Burda, please make bra cups a bit bigger than the standard B?
This project did push my patience with all the preliminaries like thread tracing, which is a process I had never used before, the end result is a very accurate way of construction.
Using underling, lining, padding and boning and quite a lot of hand sewing (not my fav thing to do either) whinge, whinge, whinge!
I am a glutton for punishment and will use this process again on a dress. I really didn’t need to apply all of this for this jumpsuit, always great to learn new techniques though!
Overall pretty damn happy with my new funky outfit!!
