a maxi dress with an asymmetrical neckline, flat head studs and a bold print. :)
this is a really simple dress, construction-wise. i think it’s better to have a simple silhouette with such a busy print. the dress has only 3 pieces: a front bodice, a skirt front and back. the black “straps” are just black elastic that i studded. the neckline was inspired by Korto from Project Runway.
printed stretch knit, black elastic, flathead studs.

Gorgeous, the dress really suits you. I agree with you – a busy fabric calls for a simple pattern.

thanks! yeah, even if i had done any fabric detailing, it would have been lost in the pattern anyways.
