I bought the fabric at Moods (NYC), I was told it was a Marc Jacobs tissue, and I was so anxious at sewing something exciting that I’ve spent almost a month thinking what to do with it as it was too big to make a shirt out of it and too small to make a dress (2 × 1,10 meters).
So finally I found the idea at burdastyle march 2012 issue: a very easy to do skirt with a romantic-bohemian-grunge style that seduced me at first. I couldn’t wait any longer: I had to do sew it right through, it took a couple of hours (say two films at the tv).
So here are the results.
