Based on Butterick 5685, a jacket/coat pattern, this started out as an intended homage to Penny Lane in Almost famous. I was going for a boho-hippie-chic vibe. I think it looks more bad-upholstery-and-roadkill-not-so-chic, but absurdity has never stopped me from wearing anything. Trim and detachable fur collar self-drafted.
Shell: Cotton velveteen. Lining: Quilted lining fabric. Trim: Faux fur.

”absurdity has never stopped me from wearing anything” – I love this line! Almost a catchphrase :D Your coat is awesome in most absurd way, and that’s a good thing! I love this fabric.
