My friend has taken up beading this year and, as she likes mostly the process itself but not to wear the things she makes, I’ve got a nice set of brooch and earrings ( poppies are one of my favourite flowers!). Last week of August didn’t pamper us with sunny days so I had a reason to wear my Bohemian suit and to boast with my set of jewelry that matches it pretty well:-)
The suit consists of two parts – red pants and a stripy jacket decorated with bendings of the pants’ material. Despite its quite complex pattern, to work on the suit was a pleasure, probably because of the result that I had before my eyes all the time!
Both of the items are made of stretch fabrics so the suit is comfortable. Besides, they give possibilities for combining with other things, what is always important for me.
The pattern for the jacket from Burda 4/2005, #102.
The pants – Burda 4/2005, #103B ( but made in full length and the waist is made on its right place).
Stretch denim for the jacket and viscose for its lining.
Stretch cotton sateen for the pants and bias bendings of the jacket.
