This is one of my favorite looks out of everything I have ever sewn for myself.
I combined a simple tube top with a gypsy skirt.
Fabrics:
- white-creamy lightweight cotton jersey for the top
- a rather crispy poly chiffon for the skirt
Patterns and construction:
- the pattern for the top is self drafted, it is basically a tube top with 2 side seams. I obtained the gatherings on the side by applying elastic on the seam allowances.
- the pattern for the skirt is also self drafted but using the instructions from Burda magazine (may 2012). I made the skirt using exclusively my serger.
