This outfit was made for a friend’s medieval wedding, I was going to sing a song I wrote for the occasion and decided to make a bohemian costume based on the wonderfull one created by Blade Runneuz (a cosplay addict). I used her skirt tutorial, a simplicity pattern for the top, the gilet and the belt and a japonese pattern for the pants.
The top’s sleeves are made with an amazing fabric : I used my grand-grand-mother’s jupon, witch was ruined on some parts. I cut it to keep the good parts and voila ! I’m crasy about this piece, it’s nice to wear something that belonged to her.
For the skirt I used 8 meters of fabric, it took me an eternity to sew but when I dance with it the result is really great.
