After some hours spent looking for suitable cheap fabric, I completed my first dress! It only costed 6€ and took about 8-10 hours to make (dealing with the zipper and bias binding was an instructive experience).
I was inspired by this outfit: http://grosgrainfabulous.blogspot.com/2011/05/free-pattern-month-day-18-vivat-veritas.html#lotus. I used a half circle skirt attached to a blouse made out of a regular blouse pattern without sleeves and neck.
It didn’t went out exactly how I was expecting and there are a lot of little (and no so little) mistakes, but I still like the result.
Hope you like it!
