Description

Found this pretty fabric at Walmart’s quilting section. Flowers on one side and the modern stripe on the other. So if one side gets stained they can be flipped over to the other. The table that they are meant for is a circular one. So the slight curve the the placemat makes it sit close to the edge of the table. The mats are quilted with cotton batting. They measure 18″×12″.

    Just what I am about to embark upon today with leftover fabric from a recently posted project. I like the idea of the slightly curved edges – though I have a square table !

    Look nice! Our Walmarts out here don’t carry material any more :-(

      It’s not really a fabric section. More like a fat quarter rack. The fabric for these mats was a packet of one meter of each fabric = 2m/pkg. The brown around the edges was a fat quarter.
