Bias cut skirt. I altered the pattern since I am a bit hippy and tall. I lengthened the pattern by 2 inches and blended the larger hip size to the smaller waist size. Then, once I had basted the front and back I realized it was too big so I took 3/8" off each side seam which is the amount of a full size drop.
I messed up a bit on the placement of the button hole, but I just did a second one over it and it was fine. I made this skirt in 1 weekend and wore it to work today and I love it! I’ll definitely make it again. Very satisfying.
100% wool. 8" invisible zipper hem tape nylon lining

gorgeous fabric :) you did a beautiful job! i hate when patterns are too big like that! that always happens! i so wish they would just make them all fitted so that you didn’t have to do those alterations!
