I used some bright blue wool crepe, polyester lining fabric and Butterick 5015, view G, to make a simple skirt that will brighten up a few dull winter days. Back zip and lapped waist band closed with a hook and eye. I hand stitched the waistband and the lining around the zip and bound the seams with bias binding and also finished off the hem with binding as well. I did iron the skirt, I had just been wearing it all morning, so please excuse the wrinkles.
