Found a huge wrap skirt with a sheer black lining at the thrift store and decided to design my own shirt from it. Took me about 8 hours of basting and seam-ripping and marking but I successfully assembled my first original design! I love LOVE LOVE this shirt because it’s got the crazy triangle pattern that was hideous on the skirt AND the sheer top makes it super feminine. The fabric with the triangles is so soft, too, it would have been a lot more than 5 bucks for me to purchase all this material. I love this style and I’m super excited to wear it tomorrow for my birthday outing!!! Oh but the black sheer stuff = pain in the butt to cut and sew and it rips very easily.
Take a trip down the aisle in these gorgeous gowns, or change the fabrics for a spring party dress.
