Description

A simple summer blouse to match the Spring is Sprung Skirt, self drafted pattern. I made this to practise my serger techniques: the hems are either 3 thread serged or roll hemmed on the serger. On the fine cotton this makes it look really neat as the seams are so small. The flower broach is also finished with a serged rolled hem.

Material Notes

A lightweight aqua cotton with a fine paisley white line pattern, not visible from a distance.

Very cute. I do like the red and white cushion as well. Did you make that too??

Thanks!! I love the cushion as well, it was a gift from a friend (can you tell my daughter’s favourite colour is red!) :-)
