  Thanks everyone for the lovely comments, it’s always nice to come on here and see peoples creations and see what people think of mine. I did use a pattern for this dress it was Butterick Fast & Easy B5028 and I followed it without changes ( which i always do with a pattern first time round, i think this is from my training at college to make a toile with every pattern change ) I have now changed the pattern a bit and made another, slightly different dress from it.

  polychromatin: yes, that is the colour of a wall in our bedroom, it is relaxing and invigorating at the same time. i love green.

  Everyone needs a dress to skip through the meadows in! (that is actually one of my requirements for much of my clothing: “could I twirl in a meadow in this?”) This is gorgeous, I love the open back and the fabric, and the pictures are very artistic.
