That was the third dress I made for my friend using her old dress as a pattern. She found the original dress in a second hand store and she loves the design so much that I keep repeating it every few years…
This time I decided to use satin ribbon I had on hand to cover simple white buttons…
Untill I got back to sewing full speed this January, that was the only sewing I’d done over the years…
Neckline is finished with facing, armscue with bias strip.
