My husband is South Asian, and since I got married I’ve worn saris to some special occasions. The biggest problem is finding someone who can make a blouse that fits well. My first blouse (by an Indian tailor) was a misfit, quite literally. I then decided I could do better myself and made this turquoise blouse.
Pure silk sari. Comes with a 1.5 yard piece for the blouse, as well as 9 yards of silk for the sari itself. One also needs a cotton underskirt.
