Description
A fitted shirt dress using McCall’s 4769. I used my favourite Liberty Tana Lawn print and fully underlined the dress with white silk cotton. I also used vintage buttons and a vintage lace trim on the hem, so the whole dress was a great stash buster! I’d highly recommend the pattern if you’re looking for a basic shirt dress shape with a nod to vintage styles.
More photos and construction details on my blog. Thanks for reading! x
Material Notes
2 metres of Liberty Tana Lawn cotton for the body of the dress, white silk cotton for underlining.
Vintage buttons and vintage lace trim for the hem.

Fabulous! That is my all-time favourite Liberty print, and that pattern is a great way to use it, especially underlined. I like the look of McCall’s 4769, too, but haven’t got around to actually making it yet. A fine effort. Well done.
