Loose fitting shirt with gathers at the back yoke. long sleeves to be rolled and buttoned with an inner placket that’s exposed when sleeves are rolled up. Front has a largish collar on a stand. Pocket was awkwardly constructed without much forethought. Need to rethink adding a pocket in terms of position, shape and size that’s suitable. Botched the hem of the shirt. It frayed like mad. Had to learn the technique of bias binding for the first time to neaten the bottom and give it a gentle curve. All in all, it’s a lightweight cool shirt. Since I love to wear belts, the looseness of the shirt was intentional instead of more formfitting.
light weight polyester something. definitely not cotton.
