We’re off to Mexico in a few weeks and I need a bunch of comfortable bottoms that can unroll from a suitcase and endure long coach journeys. This is my first – a great “travel” skirt from Christine Jonson with deep front pockets, plus and extra hidden passport pocket I included inside! I absolutely love that it’s close fitting through the waist and hips, so the pockets feel really secure, too.

The fabric is a royal blue hefty jersey that really feels very much like a thin neoprene – this stuff couldn’t wrinkle if it wanted to! I bought the last of the roll at “A-One Fabrics” on Goldhawk Road, so I’ve made leggings in the same fabric for the trip, too, but there were plenty of other colours left in the shop, also.
Flirty dresses, a cropped cami, and glam trousers for modern flappers.
