I made this Michelle skirt using a crinkled a kind of taffeta fabric with embroidery.
I made it without the contrasting hem, because I could not find any perfect colour and fabric match.
I had cut this skirt at first in my size 38, but later I whished I made it a size smaller. It was much too big and too low on my hips, so I had to change a lot ;)

Looks great! I think the embroidery on the fabric gives it enough detail not to need the contrasting hem. Looks wonderful without.

So pretty! You did a fab job taking it in, it fits beautifully. Thanks for the heads up on the sizing issue, I’m a 38 as well and have had the same problem, up or down a size, on a couple of patterns.
