Dress in Liberty tana lawn. Pattern was drafted to personal measurements. I had originally got the idea from a picture of a dress from Anthropologie. I just needed to get 2 fabrics that would work together. I already had the stuff for the skirt. I have lined the dress with cotton lawn, and interfaced the bodice sections with a fine sheer polyester. There is an invisible zip in the side seam.

Wasn’t sure how I felt about the dress until I saw it with the red jacket. Fabulous!

thanks, me too, I think it’s because the blues aren’t the same shade/tone… the red definitely pulls it together better.

haha, not an awful lot of the fabric in the middle, about 60cm of the stuff on the top and 1.5m of the skirt stuff… I was intending to make a dress or blouse or something before I saw the pic of the dress at Anthro.

This looks very nicely finished, and the fabric is perfect for summer! Also I do love your cat + bike, they are great props!
